Book On The DanceFloor

In the spring of 1997, the promotion of the *HIStory* album seemed set to continue. Indeed, Michael Jackson’s eponymous tour in Europe was imminent. Yet, against all expectations, a new record titled *Blood On The Dance Floor* was announced. More than two decades later, Brice Najar wanted to explore this unique and unconventional release in the King of Pop’s discography. As with his previous book, *Let’s Make HIStory*, he reached out to Michael Jackson’s collaborators, offering an opportunity to revisit that period and its context during the creative process. According to the author, this book, titled *Book On The Dance Floor*, serves as a kind of companion to its predecessor.

Brice Najar is the perfect blend of journalist and fan. His writings on Michael Jackson’s career provide a rare insight into Michael’s creative process, as well as the impact his collaborations had on all the artists, musicians, sound engineers, and others who had the honor of working on his projects. The interviews and reflections in this book will give fans and historians a deeper understanding of Michael’s legacy for decades to come. A must-read.
